Theatre Reviews

"Louise Yates is outstanding as Rose, a woman "with a fantastic talent but not a warm heart". When she opens her mouth she speaks stones; when she plays the violin it is as if the strings weep."

Voice Production & Presentation

I work on a one to one or small group basis to build a professional’s confidence & technical ability allowing them to function highly in a market that is increasingly client-facing. On a one to one basis I use special exercises learned over 24 years as a professional actress. The quality and delivery of speech can be transformed this way, permitting a previously inaudible or weak speaker to be more captivating and engaging, allowing them to get their message across powerfully & effectively.

Jazz Singer

I also find time to sing the standards & jazz classics popularised by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Lena Horne, Sarah Vaughan, Flora Purim, Astrud Gilberto, Chet Baker & Dina Washington. I am very much an alto!
